2008 Venue Show
Thirty-five businesses descended on Pleasure Beach Blackpool for The Lancashire & Blackpool Conferences & Meetings Venue Show back in April. This exhibition is a joint Lancashire & Blackpool Tourist Board/ VisitBlackpool bi-annual business-to-business exhibition for the conference and meetings trade and welcomed approximately 120 visitors.
As befitting the host venue, there were showgirls, a magician, a juggler, a swing time singer and non-alcoholic cocktails to give the show a true Pleasure Beach atmosphere. Regional delicacies were also on hand as part of the Taste of Lancashire 08 campaign. Sadly all those manning the stands were too busy to enjoy a ride on Infusion or
The Big One.
