The Crofters Hotel
The Crofters Hotel at Garstang is constantly diversifying and has taken some weird an wonderful events over the last year including the British Model Car racing championships which entails an 8 lane 2 metre wide track with twists and turns set up over the main ballroom. Crofters also played host to the British Arm Wrestling Championships, which has a very big following!
The hotel also recently gained an AA rosette for culinary excellence. The prestigious award comes merely a year after the hotel had been bought by Nicola and Derek Cheetham and follows a major refurbishment of the hotel.
Derek has provenance in the industry, having trained at the Michelin Starred Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland after completing his HND in Catering at Blackpool and Fylde College before winning awards at the Park Restaurant in Preston.
Derek said, "We are excited to gain an AA rosette at the Crofters as we are able to cater for small parties and large numbers alike. The stringent AA criteria for gaining the award give guest's confidence in the consistency and quality of the food. We have a lovely team of staff and modern relaxing surrounding which means that we are able to deliver reliably high standards."
The Crofters is open every day from 12pm and available for private parties and conferences for 2 - 250 people.
